This morning, Miss Smith and members of the High School Stand Up Club were stationed at the HS doors in order to greet students during arrival time. The group is kicking off “Start with Hello Week,” an initiative from Sandy Hook Promise that aims to create a school culture of kindness, inclusivity and empathy. Throughout this national call-to-action week, Stand Up members are promoting dress up day themes, reading inspirational quotes over the announcements, and encouraging daily kindness missions. Whether it’s introducing themselves to someone new or listening to a different perspective, Stand Up is challenging all PCS family members to go outside their comfort zones, include others, and be kind!

Sometimes you just need to be silly! They work hard on the courts and fields, all awhile keeping up with school work and personal obligations, but our student-athletes need to find time to unwind and have some fun. That's exactly what the girls' modified and JV soccer teams did when Coach Rowley suggested a scavenger hunt and team building activities. Looks like they had a great time! #PrideInTheHive

One of Mrs. Adolf's favorite days is coming up this Friday....International Dot Day! The concept for the day is based on Peter H. Reynold's book "The Dot," which celebrates creativity, courage and collaboration. Just like the book's main character, Vashti, Mrs. Adolf is challenging her elementary art students to experiment with abstract art. Just a small dot on a page can be the start of our students "making their mark." #PrideInTheHive

Varsity Boys' Soccer Result - 9/11 Perry 2 Mount Morris 1 OT/2 The boys were down 1-0 for a majority of the game and kept pushing for an equalizer. That goal finally came with 1 minute remaining in the game when Holden Kelly sent a cross into Dom Hurlburt who put it past the keeper to make it 1-1. Then, 2 minutes into the second overtime period, Holden Kelly dribbled down the left side past two Mount Morris defenders and decided to take a shot from the corner of the 18. The shot floated into the right side of the net over the keeper to win the game 2-1. It was an all-around great team effort and an important first win in the division.

Varsity Boys' Soccer Results - 9/8 Perry 10 Hammondsport 2 The game was tightly contested for much of the first half and the boys went into half time with just a narrow 3-1 lead. The boys are now 3-1 on the season and have their first divisional game on Monday versus Mt. Morris.
