Weather: Overcast, cooler temperatures in the mid 60's

General Roofing

- Six roofers on site today

- ISO, densdeck, and membrane was moved to the Elem main office area in preparation for the roof work.  This will be the next area to renovate.

- Perimeter edge metal over the admin area was removed.

- New perimeter edge blocking was installed along the admin area

- The parapet wall located on the north Elem roof was flashed in with membrane

 Highland Masonry

- Four masons were on site today

- Their work continued on the north side of the Elem.

- Installing sealant on the 2nd floor classrooms continued

- The lower vertical expansion joints along the Elem wind were completed

- The vertical joints along the gym were cleaned out

September 6, 2017

Weather: Cool temperatures reaching 68 degrees, overcast most of the day, no rain

 General Roofing

- Six roofers on site today

- The last parapet wall on the Elem wing was flashed in with membrane

- The curbs to all Elem skylights were completed.  Membrane was installed on the new curbs in preparation for new skylights which are on order

- Concerns with rain tomorrow may impact roofing over the admin area. Discussed alternative work to take place if rain occurs.

September 7, 2017

Weather: Cooler temperatures reaching 64 degrees with winds reaching 10 mph

General Roofing

- Five roofers on site today

- Roofers debated on starting roof over main office area due to forecast calling for 50% rain. 

- At 7:00am they decided to proceed with work over main office

- Wet areas identified on the roof scan were removed over the office suite

- New ISO, densdeck, and .075 EPDM was installed in this location

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site today

- New sealant installation continued on lower Elem classroom windows

- Installing upper sealant on Elem classroom on north side continued

- Work over the music classrooms and upper boiler room chimney occurred

- Proposal from Highland on IB MC-2 thru IB MC-5 was provided today.  Clarification on MC-5 needs to occur before approving
