Weather:  Hot, muggy, with temperatures reaching 85 degrees

General Roofing

- 5 roofers on site today

- Finished detail work over the Elem library side of the facility.  Work included flashing around the two split systems, condensing unit curbs, antenna, and utility chase

- Removed the termination strips under library windows for EPDM to be installed along brick wall.

- Reinstalled the green metal roofing over the main entrance

- Metal wall flashing connecting to the green corrugated front entrance roof needs to be reinstalled.

- Perimeter edge metal over the Jr. High wing was removed.  New wood blocking was installed.  galvanized fasteners were installed, not stainless steel

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site today

- Work continued on the vertical joints along the Jr. High wing and around the classrooms

- Discussion on the start date of the auditorium thru wall flashing and brick work.  The foreman will call Charlie for details

Willett Builders

- Pay application for material was sent to DO for processing

- Started to set dates for site work and material listing prior to October 9th

September 19, 2017

Weather:  Hot, little breeze with temperatures in the lower 80's

General Roofing

- Started with 6 roofers in A.M. then went to four roofers by mid morning

- Started installing ISO, densdeck, and EPDM over the Jr. High wing over the corridor bathrooms and the bump out rooms on the left side.

- Roof drain leaking over Danielle Lucky's room.  Found that the coupling has slipped off between the roof drain and pipe.  General has been notified to repair the drain

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Work continues on cleaning out the Jr. High window sealant and vertical joints. 

- All old sealant is being removed in this wing.  Once completed new sealant will be installed

- Decking was dropped off in preparation for the flashing and brick work to the auditorium wall

Willett Builders

- One technician will be on site tomorrow to estimate materials and confirm conditions so all required accessories for the project can be ordered.

September 20, 2017

Weather:  Sunny with little breeze temperatures reaching 84 degrees

General Roofing

- Six roofers on site

- Work over the Jr. High wing continued installing ISO, densdeck, and EPDM

- General Roofing repaired the Elem roof drain that came apart

- There are no plans to ramp up the amount of manpower for the project to expedite the timeline.

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site today

- Work continued on the Jr High windows along the boiler room entrance

Willett Builders

- Frank Willett was on site estimating the materials for their start date

- The week of October 2nd  AHU 1 & 2 will be shut down to evacuate the refrigerant

- The same week, their technicians will start running new pipe from the condensing units to the AHU's.

- The music teachers in the Jr. High wing were notified the classes will need to be conducted on the stage and not their classrooms due to the work.

- October 9th is the mechanical crane lift for the condensing units and coils

September 21, 2017

Weather: Sunny & warm with temperatures in the low 80's

General Roofing

- Six roofers today

- Large section of roofing over the Jr. High wing was completed from the end of the building to the center of the roof.

- New ISO, densdeck, and EPDM was installed in this location.  If they do not full secure the membrane today they will complete tomorrow morning.

- Notified me that tomorrow will be a light day of work

- Dumpster will arrive tomorrow that will be located o the dirt access road behind the Elem.

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Work started on the auditorium brick wall.  Brick was removed exposing the improperly installed thru-wall flashing.

- Flashing was found to be short of the brick exposing the center holes of each brick permitting water to enter the facility.

- Work continued on installing backer rod and sealant on the Jr. High wing

September 22, 2017

Weather:  Hot & muggy with temperatures reaching 85 degrees

General Roofing

-Six roofers today

- Secured the remaining EPDM installed yesterday

- Clean up of work area (old ISO, left over material, etc)

- New dumpster arrived behind the Elem.

- Roofers left by lunch time
