Weather:  Hard rain until mid-afternoon, cooler temperatures in the low 60's

General Roofing

- One roofer on site to complete the curb flashing and EPDM after the new condensing units were placed on the roof.  Roofer left after work was completed.

- No masons on site today

Willett Builders

- Four mechanical technicians on site

- Crane arrived on site to remove the old condensing units off the Elem. roof and place the new units on the existing curbs.

- The two existing condensing units were separated from the curb and lifting harnesses were installed to accommodate the crane lift. 

- Condensing unit # 1 crane lift occurred adjacent to the Elem. maintenance shop

- Condensing unit # 2 crane lift occurred on the grass area outside the Elem. library

Weather:  Warm, sunshine, with temperatures in the low 70's

General Roofing

- Nine roofers on site today

- Installed EPDM, ISO, and densdeck on roof over the nurses office and teachers lounge

- Two rows of perimeter edge blocking installed on work area secured with stainless steel screws.

- Roofers plan to move operation to the gym next

- Area of roof adjacent to the front entrance metal roof will be postponed due to the detail work involved

Highland Masonry

- Five masons on site

- Work continued on the front entrance brick replacement

- Discussion on the brick replacement over the library needs to be redone.  The brick was installed offset presenting a poor look

- The corner brick wall adjacent to the music entrance underwent a complete removal of damaged brick

- Discussion occurred with Highland in regards on how to proceed with the open wall over the Superintendents office.  CPL was contacted for resolution.  They will respond through email to Highland on corrective measures and request a proposal for the work.

- Additional vertical joints on the 2nd floor walls continued

Weather:  Cool temperatures in the low 60's with rain throughout the day

General Roofing

- Two roofers on site

- No roofing due to weather

- Detail work, moved material for tomorrow

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Work continued on the 2nd floor vertical joints

- Discussion on what next steps need to occur to repair brick wall outside Supt. office.  Brick samples were provided but none matched.  Will return tomorrow with different samples

- Finished brick replacement by music entrance corner

Willett Builders

- Not on site

- Contacted contractor on return to the district.  Frank indicated he will return Monday to start on AHU #1 piping.

- After coordinating work with teachers and principals, AHU #2 work will start on Thursday October 19th considering Open House is the night before

Weather: Overcast with warmer temperatures in the upper 60's.  Light rain in the AM

General Roofing

- Nine roofers on site

- Started the roof over the auditorium, plan is to complete 4500 sq ft a day. Contractor feels confident they will finish the Aud. roof by tomorrow.

- Discussed sky light removal over Aud., contractor was unaware this was in his scope.  Material needs to be obtained to fill skylight void

- Discussed the installation of the perimeter edge metal.  Contractor has requested a 1 piece metal instead of the two piece perimeter edge as indicated in the drawings

- discussed the need for the stainless steel screws to be installed in the perimeter edge blocking of the Elem wing still

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Met with Charlie to pick brick samples for Supt office wall.  A match was found and will be ordered.  Material will take 10 days to receive

- The precast for Elem classrooms is ready for installation.  Start date will be provided by Monday, work will be completed 2nd shift

- Contractor will provide quote to grind out horizontal joint along music wing and refill with silicone caulk to prevent future cracking.

Weather: Cool with temperatures in the low 60's, partly sunny

General Roofing

- Seven roofers on site

- New ISO, densdeck, and EPDM installed on the final section of auditorium roof. 

- Contractor still needs to demo old skylight on Aud roof

- Detail work on handrail on auditorium roof is completed.

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Work continued on the vertical joints at the HS

- Mortar stains on brick and stone veneer at front of HS was removed.
