Weather:  Cold morning in the mid 30's warming up to upper 40's

General Roofing

- Six roofers on site

- Work continued on detail work for the gymnasium roof relief fans started

- Detail work on the Elem work started

- Progress meeting occurred with concerns on manpower to effectively complete project in the allotted timeframe.  General acknowledged concern and assured the manpower will be increased.

- Discussion on trimming and painting the exposed fasteners in the gym when contractor secured the new ISO board.

- No install date on perimeter edge metal or skylights

- Perimeter edge metal is scheduled to ship on Nov. 11th

- Landscape repairs on options for remediation were covered

- One half of the locker room roof and gym storage room still need new ISO, densdeck, and EPDM installed

- Discussion on drywall repairs to Elem stairwell, roof drain in library and gym leaks

Highland Masonry

- Five masons on site

- Work continues on the 2nd floor science wing around the window.

- Contractor agreed to exhaust the $200 allowance and caulk 2nd floor HS classroom in exchange

- The vapor barrier on interior wall to Supt. office is installed.  Sealant is placed along the perimeter edge of the vapor barrier

- Water damage occurred from HS gym scuppers onto recently poured concrete pads.  Contractor will need to patch concrete

- Cont. believes they will be ready for punchlist in 2 weeks

- Elem. window sill replacement is tentatively scheduled for next week

Willett Builders

- 2 HVAC tech's on site

- Roughing in the copper lines in preparation for sweating on AHU #2

- AHU # 1 was bumped and started with no complications.

- The controls for both units has yet to start.  A date of October 31st was set for the control work

- Testing of the copper lines will be completed this week on AHU #2

- Proposal for victaulic fitting work in Elem will be broken down into two proposals in order to exhaust the $1500 allowance.  Cont. agreed to provide paperwork to support this resolution.

Weather:  Cold with temperatures in the mid 30's

General Roofing

- Nine roofers on site

- Detail work along the gym continued on roof top units.

- Several roof punctures were identified on the auditorium roof that will require patching

- No time line on the remaining EPDM install due to cold temperatures

Highland Masonry

- Five masons on site

- Brick work and flashing on Supt. window continues

- HS science wing mortar joints continue to be worked on

- HS front entrance brick joints on 2nd floor continue below the old clock location

Willett Builders

- One HVAC tech and one electrician

- Billitier Elect. terminated electrical to condensing unit # 2

- Sweating in lines for condensing unit # 2 continues in the penthouse area

- The control contractor did not show today

Weather:  Cold, windy and overcast with temperatures in the mid 40's

General Roofing

- Nine roofers on site

- Cont. terminated membrane along the nurses office wing below the recently installed brick and flashing to Aud exterior wall.

- With previous leaks in the nurses corridor, we hope to pinpoint the origin of the water entering the facility by completing the membrane installation in this location.

- Relief fan detail work on the gym roof is completed.

- Discussed installing the curbs and skylights for gym in order to weather tight the roof.

- Five masons on site

- Brick work over Supt. office continues

- Mortar joint restoration on 2nd floor HS over front entrance continues

- The mortar joints on HS 2nd floor window sills and vertical joints continues

- Discussion on the remaining brick installation for the Elem facility.  They plan on completing this when the new window sill are installed.

Willett Builders

- One HVAC tech on site

- Nitrogen setup to purge AHU # 2 copper lines.

- Contractor waited good portion of morning for argon gas to sweat pipes to AHU #2

- Spoke with Frank Willett on control contractor not showing.  He indicated it may be next week considering AHU #2 is not ready to start.

- Frank indicated we cannot load test the condensing units considering the low temperatures now.  We may to keep contract open until Spring of 2018 to properly test the units.

November 2, 2017

Weather:  Cool morning temperatures with heavy rain.  Temperatures warmed up in afternoon once rain stopped.

General Roofing

- Nine roofers on site

- Contacted John (General Roofing) in regards to several leaks in the gym, nurses corridor, and library.

- John stated he would fix the library leak after school lets out.

- The leaks in the nurses corridor felt was not his since his membrane is terminated.  They offered to install a temporary vapor barrier over the west exterior Aud. wall to limit the water infiltration into the building.

- The skylights for the gym are set to be installed starting this afternoon.

- Contacted CPL and Supt. regarding the volume of leaks inside the Elem.  CPL sent an email to General regarding the concerns and required action that needs to be taken to resolve the situation.

- Carlisle and CPL visited site over concerns with the roof leaks, volume of work at this point in the year, and manpower.  Previewed all the leak areas, especially over the nurses office corridor.  The consensus was to water test the nurses corridor roof first to see if any leaks occur.  Then move water test to the first three courses of brick Highland Masonry installed.  Finally move the water test to mid point on the wall.  At each test we need to check for water leaks in order to pin point the trouble spot.  This work will be coordinated in the near future when the weather permits.
