Weather:  Cool temperatures in the morning in the mid 30's.  Temperatures warmed up to upper 40's by mid day

General Roofing

- 6 roofers on site

- Work on the Elem. locker rooms EPDM, densdeck, and new ISO took place.

- Concerns with the existing copper thruwall flashing was discussed.  When contractor attempts to push metal back over the new termination bar for the EPDM, the copper pulls out of the wall.  Photos were taken and CPL was notified of the concern.  This will be reviewed during their next visit.

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Work on column of brick on HS facility in the middle of the science wing was underwent the mortar joints removed.  

- Vertical joint backer rod and sealant installation continued at the HS

- Met with masons to set date for water test on the Elem. Aud. brick wall weeps.  Nov. 8th is the date set for the test.

Willett Builders

- Contractor not on site

- Contacted Frank Willett on concerns with AHU #2 & #5 not operating due to several troubles in the units.  He plans to have the control contractor (Siemens) to review situation and resolve.

November 7, 2017

Weather:  Freezing temperatures in morning, roof is iced over.  Warmer temperatures in the low 40's by mid afternoon

General Roofing

- 6 roofers on site

- The roof drain for the Elem. locker room fell through the deck.  Contractor and I climbed into the locker room ceiling into crawl space to reset the roof drain and secure piping.  

- Contractor fastened the roof drain in place and membrane was installed with tapered insulation.

- Curb installation on the locker room roof for skylights started.

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Final detail work on brick over Supt. windows was completed

- Dumpster was moved to area outside the Elem. maintenance shop in preparation for the window sill replacement.

- Brick column at HS science wing is in process of being remortared.

Willett Builder

- Contractor not on site

- Siemens contacted me to schedule visit for tomorrow to troubleshoot AHU #1 & #2 since neither are running

Weather:  Freezing temperatures in the morning.  Temperatures warmed up to mid 40's by afternoon

General Roofing

- 6 roofers on site

- Detail work on the gym skylights continued.

- Detail work on Jr. High expansion joint started

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Water test on the Elem. Aud. brick wall took place.  Hose was inserted in several brick weeps installed by the contractor to test the new flashing integrity.  Water leaked into the facility at every test point verifying the new flashing was not properly sealed.  Contractor planned to open up the wall at flashing joints behind the brick to resolve issued.  Work will start tomorrow per Dale

- Work on mortar joint replacement on brick wall outside the Guidance office started.

Willett Builders

- Contractor not on site

- Siemens arrived to look at panel in Elem. penthouse.  Determined there are larger issues then programming and left shortly after arrival.  Siemens stated he would send an email off indicating more work needs to take place before they can perform their control work.  I contacted Frank Willett on the visit.  He stated he would be out to look at the concerns and resolve.

November 9, 2017

Weather: Freezing temperatures in the morning with a slight wind.  Temperatures reaching the upper 30's by mid day.

General Roofing

- 6 roofers on site

- Installation of the skylights on the locker rooms took place.

- Detail work on the skylights was completed

- Contractor indicated he plans on working tomorrow with freezing temperatures and high winds

Highland Masonry

- Four masons on site

- Half of the brick openings on the Elem. brick wall were infilled

- Masonry restoration on the HS science wing continued

Willett Builders

- Contractor not on site

- Emailed Frank regarding the status of the victaulic fittings to the circulation pump located in the Elem. maintenance area.  He planned on completing the paper work for the change order this week.  Also, he planned to have someone out on Monday to start the victaulic fitting work.

- The insulator planned to be on site tomorrow at 5:30am to start work.

Weather:  Freezing temperatures in the 20's with high winds up to 40mph.

General Roofing

- Six roofers arrived and left shortly after due to weather conditions

- Contractor not on site

Willett Builders

- Two insulators on site at 5:30am.  Work on insulating the new lines in the music corridor ceiling.  They will return to complete the insulating to AHU #1 & #2 next week
