- Specifications on the proposed cameras under the Phase 2 alternate list were provided today by Clark-Patterson-Lee. Both the indoor and outdoor camera literature was emailed to John Stanley (BOCES), Todd Huffer (BOCES) and Justin Allen (PCSD) so the districts infrastructure requirements could be designed. This includes the appropriate POE switches, necessary wiring for the cameras, electrical needs, and proper amount of bandwidth within the facilities so future testing requirements are not affected by this upgrade.
- Phase 1 kick off meeting occurred at 1:00 pm in the district office conference room. In attendance was Dr Stavisky, Laura Feldman, Craig Woodworth, Dean Frentz (Clark-Patterson-Lee), Mike Action (Action Roofing), Chris Webster (M/E Engineering), and Keith Chapman (Cogenic Mechanical).
- The necessary documentation by each contractor (certificate of insurance, schedule of values, submittals, OSHA certification, etc) were discussed. Dean requested that submitting as much as possible electronically will speed up the approval process with their firm.
- Schedule time lines with Action Roofing were discussed. The tentative start date for their work is June 10th. This is assuming their required documentation is submitted and approved on time.
-Discussions on regents testing locations were identified in order to minimize any interference from roofing work while students are testing. Regents testing is scheduled from June 11 - June 19th in both the gym and cafeteria. The tentative plan is to start the roofing demolition at the library and work across the front of the HS. The work will commence along the music wing to the district office. By this time regents testing should be completed eliminating any distractions to students. Action Roofing will continue with their work over the maintenance department wing which contains a ballasted roof. Work over the cafeteria, kitchen, auditorium and part of the pool will follow. The roofers will not reroof the area around the pool unit until the new unit is set and operational.
- Cogenic Mechanical anticipates the pool unit submittal will be in Clark-Patterson-Lee's hands by the end of this week. R.L. Kistler will be the manufacturer of the pool unit who anticipates fabrication will take between 8 - 12 weeks. Once unit is on site, they anticipate that approximately 4 days will be needed to have the unit installed and terminated.
- The original deadline for the pool to be reopened is still obtainable and should pose no threat to the existing swim season schedule provided by Tracy Rozanski.
- Action roofing will revisit site tomorrow to acquire additional core cuts in roof to address appropriate pitch concerns towards to existing roof drains.
- A color coded drawing will be created by Mike Action and I tomorrow so I can coordinate all summer building uses ( exterior doors, safe locations to enter/exit facility, room availability due to construction). this information will be necessary to ensure that the public can utilize the facility without danger from overhead work at exterior doorways.
- Both contractors signed the Short Term Notification Form required by the districts AHERA plan. This notification lists all the existing asbestos locations known to the district within the HS. A map of the ACM locations are identified which is provided to the contractor.

Weather: Sunny during the morning with a slight breeze out of the south with the temperature reaching 84 degree's. A mid afternoon overcast occurred followed by rain at approximately 2:30 - 3:30pm. Skies cleared shortly after with the sun returing.
-Action Roofing visited the HS during the A.M. Mike took several roof core cuts to verify if existing roof deck was pitched or not. Discussion on the roof, scope of work, and details related to the roofing project were discussed with Action roofing while they were on site.
- Concerns with the drawings information related to the ballasted roof over the maintenance department wing. Drawing indicates the roof is pitched when in actuality the roof is not. Dean Frentz and Mike are currently in discussions to resolve the details necessary to accommodate the this portion of the roof.
-Mike emailed the Certificate of Insurance submittal to my attention so the districts insurance carrier (Hart's Insurance) could review the document. This submittal is essential so the June 10th start date is not delayed. Action roofing also mailed a hard copy of the Certificate of Insurance submittal to Clark-Patterson-Lee for their review.

- Visited Don Stout this morning to discuss Action roofing's Certificate of Insurance and coverage. Don plans on reviewing the document this morning for conformity. He understands the contractors intent is to start on June 10th with the roofing demolition.
- A copy of the district Tax Exempt Certificate was emailed to Action Roofing in preparation for the start of construction.
