- J.W. Danforth provided 9 submittals for review on the booster heaters, pool heater, expansion tank, and glycol tank for pool upgrade work. Additional submittals include fin tub products for the nurses office, bleeder valves, and natural gas regulators. These items specifications will be reviewed to ensure the product is acceptable as well as adaptable to our existing infrastructure.
- Architect was sent an email regarding the 2nd floor science classroom being excluded from the application of insulation to the underside of the roof deck.
June 24, 2014
- Change order was processed for remediation work on the athletic complex press box piers. The change order was to cover the expenses for the testing firm to assure the concrete met the engineers specified psi for the press box piers. Included in the cost is slump testing, 7 day testing as well as air entrapment testing.
- Joe Rausch (structural engineer) from Clark-Patterson-Lee reviewed the rebar connections as well as the epoxy application included with the new threaded rod installation. Joe had no concerns with the installation and will provide a report accordingly.
- The first load of concrete from Hanson failed the air entrapment testing. A second load of concrete was sent which passed this time. D&H Excavating removed the original concrete in its entirety from the first load.

- Relcomm quote for the district wide telephone upgrade was sent to M/E Engineering for review earlier in the week. The engineers comments were reviewed and passed onto Relcomm for answers before presenting scope for potential change order.
