June 16, 2014
- Meeting between M/E Engineering, Bethany Technologies, and the district occurred to discuss the type of camera and operating system the contractor planned to submit versus the projects specifications and district expectations considering the contractor represents several brands of CCTV systems.
- Bethany Technologies plans to submit Digiop as the operating system. A demonstration of how to operate, retrieve recordings, and other functionalities was discussed.
- Contacted Todd Huffer (BOCES) alerting him that I will be the point of contact for this summers Wi-Fi installation until the district hires a new IT Coordinator.
- Alternate's HS-5 & EMS-6 will be approved at the next BOE for Bethany Tech.
June 18, 2014
- Phase 2 kick off meeting took place. Discussions on expectations, schedules, pay applications, and coordination of work were elaborated on for the project.
- Walk-thru of the facility occurred shortly after meeting to work out questions on base bid work.
- Pool swim schedule was emailed to all three prime contractors so their work can be coordinated.
Danforth emailed questions regarding the pool duct work. Height of duct, color of white to paint duct, and anticipated balancing date for pool duct work.
- Next coordination meeting is set for July 11th at 10:00am
June 19, 2014
- Provided duct work measurements to Danforth so the proper equipment can be brought to site in order to complete their pre-balancing on July 11th.
- Met with Kircher Const. and their insulation sub-contractor for the HS 2nd floor work. At that time we discovered that the Earth Science room was omitted in the plans for insulation. A email will be sent to CPL.
- The summer pool schedule was reviewed with Kircher Const. so smaller construction activities could be coordinated during the days with no swimming activities. Kircher will provide a construction schedule reflecting our discussion.
June 20, 2014
- Emailed BOCES representative to contact myself on all technology upgrades and incoming material related to the capital project so these items can be scheduled for installation until a new IT Coordinator can be hired.
