Action Roofing Progress

- There is approximately 230 square of new EPDM that still remains to be installed.

- Discussion of the two roof leaks found this morning after last nights rain storm.  Action Roofing, Clark-Patterson-Lee, and I will review both locations to remedy the problem.  The locations are outside the double doors to auditorium across from the chorus room.  The second is located approximately 20' adjacent to the first leak.

- Wall flashing is on order to lock up the exterior wall to prevent the small roof leaks that are occurring.

- The remaining pool roof work will take place once school is in session.  This should not pose a problem to any instructional piece for the district since the work is isolated to this location.

- A discussion on Action Roofing's ability to complete the remaining work prior to school.  Mike jackson felt there are no concerns at this point in finishing everything with the exception of the pool roof prior to school starting.

Cogenic Progress

- The new pool unit is scheduled for delivery on September 11, 2013

- September 4th is the first day for the students

- The maintenance parking lot will need to be closed down on that day considering the crane will be in operation to remove the old pool unit and install the unit all at once.

- Cogenic will need 5 - 7 days to prepare the old unit to be removed.  The utilities, water lines, controls, etc will be disconnected at this time.

- On August 26th, the pool will be shut down for the summer to start the disconnection of utilities.

- Crane will be on site at 9am, to lift the units.

- Frey Technologies will be able to start their work on September 12th.  The work includes replacing the pool grates at the bottom of the pool, replace the sand filters, replace the circulation pump in the filter room, and miscellaneous work associated with the contract.

- The pool will be closed in its entirety from August 26 - September 18th.  The pool will be refilled once Cogenic's overhead work is complete.  The district will have to spray down the interior of the pool to eliminate any dirt or contamination that may have occurred as a result of the pool upgrades.

- Next meeting is scheduled for August 23, 2013 at 11:00am
