-Danforth has installed the new heat exchanger in the HS pool heater room. Piping to accommodate the expansion tank is ongoing within this space.
- Roofers will be on site this week to install three roof penetrations to accommodate the new natural gas booster heaters.
- Bethany Electric has 5 electricians running wire at HS for both the Wifi and camera installation. They anticipate the cable work will be complete at the HS this week.
- Bethany plans on working 10hr. days to ensure the Elem. camera and Wifi cabling is complete by the end of next week.
- Bethany plans on wiring the three booster heaters this week. One the vent stacks are complete the units start up will occur.
- Kircher's mason did not arrive today. They are picking up the brick picked for the HS music wing window renovation work. Kircher indicated the mason will be on site Wednesday to start the pool masonry restoration.
- Kircher has indicated that any communication with Alta Enterprise has failed. Their contact and cell number are unresponsive.
- The electrical equipment for the pool blanket was requested by the electrician so their work can be completed prior to the blanket arriving on site. Kircher will attempt to contact vendor on equipment.
- Danforth technician indicated one of the pump seals receiving a new motor is leaking. I contacted vendor responsible for pump alignment on providing new pump seal and install prior to alignment. He indicated parts should not be a problem, will try to cover costs with installation.
August 19, 2014
- Bethany continues to pull wire for the Wifi and new cameras located in the HS. They will continue their work at the HS before moving to the Elem.
- Danforth had roofing sub-contractor visit site today to look at roof penetrations necessary to accommodate the natural gas booster heater stacks. The work is scheduled for this Thursday.
- Danforth continued their work in the HS boiler room replacing the heat system circulation system motors. During the work, several gaskets to the pumps were found to be in need of a changeover. A quote by Danforth's sub-contractor was provided to replace seals on all 8 pumps receiving new motors prior to alignment. Quote will be discussed with Supt. tomorrow morning.
- One propeller to HS circulation pump was found to be slightly damaged. Danforth's sub-contractor agreed to repair the propeller at no cost.
- Kircher was not on site today.
- Kircher was contacted today regarding the information requested last week on the pool blanket weights (dry & wet), as well as the electrical control components. Bethany has requested that these items be installed prior to the pool blanket arrival.
- Email received today from M/E Engineering regarding the speaker and component additions requested by Bethany Electric sub-contractor, ProSound Assoc. The information will be shared with the Supt. tomorrow in order to determine what directions the district should pursue.
- Vmail was left with the Epson representative regarding the HS auditorium overhead projector. A request for a site visit to verify the projector we are looking to install within the auditorium is the best fit for our conditions.
August 20, 2014
- Kircher Const. continues to have difficulty reaching Alta Enterprise regarding the pool cover information. I'll attempt to call vendor for pool blanket weights and delivery times for electrical components.
- Bethany Electric continues to run cable at the HS for both the cameras and Wifi.
- Danforth is aligning the HS boiler room motors. The technician raised concerns with the pump seals since several are leaking. A quote for replacing the pump seals was provided by the end of business.
- Kircher was not on site. I contacted Kircher on the start date for the mason. They indicated he should have been on site today. No mason's arrived to perform work by the end of business.
- IP addresses were sent to Bethany Electric for the camera and card access system in preparation for the upgrades.
- The personnel listing of all individuals holding proximity cards with access levels was provided to Bethany Electric so this data could be converted over to the new system.
- A list of access levels and groups established in the card access system was provided to Bethany Electric so the same parameters can be pre-programmed prior to installation.
