August 11, 2014

- Coordination meeting took place today at 10:00am in the district office conference room.

Bethany

- Requested card access spreadsheet of card users with rights so they can transfer information to new system.

- The new cameras are on order to replace the existing analog system. 

- Bethany will disconnect motors in HS boiler room next week.

- Pool cover will take 1 week to install.  Work is still scheduled to take place during the pool shut down.

- Bethany requested the electrical components for the pool cover be delivered so they can install prior to pool cover arriving.

- Wi-Fi installation will be discussed due to time constraints prior to school starting.  There are manpower concerns which they are looking into to meet the districts deadlines.

- Stagging area will be moved to the HS stage

- Bethany requested the IP addresses of camera system and card access system to implement into their upgrades.

Kircher

- Pool cover is on order, approximately 6-weeks out.  Installation will take 1-week.  All work will take place while pool is shut down.

- Kircher still needs to supply the specifications on the pool blanket weight, both dry and wet.

- Mortar work at the HS will start once brick replacement is found.  Work will be completed prior to school starting.

- HS front doors will be installed over Columbus Day weekend.  Deliver times did not permit work to be completed before school starting.

- Kircher plans to start masonry repairs in pool area this Friday when pool is closed.

Danforth

- Change order for additional pool pump to circulate through the heat exchanger was approved at meeting.  There is a 6-week lead time on new 1hp pool heater circulation.  Work will be completed prior to pool reopening.

- Next week motor replacement in HS boiler room will take place.

- Danforth requested the energy management system and version the district is using to incorporate into their installation schedule.

- Danforth plans to start diffuser installation in pool area this Friday.  Work is scheduled to be complete by August 25th.

- Next coordination meeting is set for August 25th at 10:00am.

August 12, 2014

- Danforth is on site continuing the natural gas piping to the Elem booster heaters.

- Bethany is not on site

- Kircher is not on site

August 13, 2014

- Kircher is not on site

- Bethany is not on site

- Call was placed to Kircher confirming the masons arrival next Monday to start saw cutting the mortar joins outside the HS music wing.

- Danforth shut down the natural gas to the Elem. kitchen to perform taps for new booster heaters.

August 14, 2014

- Danforth continued their booster heater work at the Elem. kitchen

- Danforth started installing pipe hangers above the HS gym corridor to accommodate the new pool heater piping.  They plan to complete the majority of piping in this location prior to school starting to avoid student contact.

- Contacted Bethany regarding the network upgrade the week of Aug. 25th.  Their wiring to all the new devices has to be completed prior to this date.  Bruce indicated he will have 5 electricians on site next Monday to finish wiring the HS and move to Elem.

- Bethany plans on running new camera cabling throughout buildings at the same time.  Once cameras arrive they will be installed.

- IP addresses for both camera systems & card access were sent to Bethany to expedite the change over.

- All maintenance IP addresses (8 total) we sent to Edutech upon their request.  Edutech plans on changing all IP addresses with the network changeover.  This information needs to be disseminated to all respective parties considering so many new network systems are be installed at once.

August 15, 2014

- Kircher provided brick samples for the solider course above the HS music wing windows.  The color sample was chosen so Kircher could place the brick order.

- Kircher confirmed the mason's would be on site Monday to start their masonry restoration in the pool area.

- The HS heat plant was shut down since the pool schedule is concluded.  The pool unit is in "Unoccupied" mode which permits the roof top unit to run minimally in order to save energy.

- Danforth brought the new motors and pump to the HS boiler room in preparation for their work next week.

- Danforth finalized the booster heater installation.  The stacks for each unit are scheduled to be installed next week.  A certified Firestone roofer was retained to perform the roof penetrations.

- Bethany was not on site

- Quote for potentially upgrading both auditorium speaker and sound systems was issued from the installing vendor.  A request for a 2nd sound system vendor to review the quote for necessity was placed with M/E Engineering today.
